Greetings from The Lancet and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS)!

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in a two-day event of The Lancet-CAMS Health Conference that will be hosted virtually by CAMS in collaboration with The Lancet on Nov. 30-Dec. 1, 2022. This multidisciplinary event is aimed to serve as one of the first major research collaborations between The Lancet and China -- with the goals of strengthening the capacity of Chinese biomedical science, documenting the rapid progress and high-quality research of China’s health research community, and globalizing the reporting and influence of that science.

This year, the conference will focus on some of the most important health topics facing us today, such as the future of academic medicine, one health, healthy ageing, advances in chronic disease research, especially cancer research, and important issues related to public health and regional health. The conference has two keynote speeches, namely on the future of academic medicine and one health issue. There are also four sessions, Healthy Ageing in China, Cancer research progress in China, The Lancet Public Health China themed issue, and The Lancet Regional Health -Western Pacific session. We will invite top experts and researchers from around the world to participate in discussions to jointly address the challenges in the field of health.
